Anatomy of a Citation

Use this drag and drop activity to help students learn the essential parts and formats of citations. The activity may be used as a pre-class assignment. At the end of the module, students have the option to screenshot a proof of completion. If your classroom has an interactive whiteboard, you can use this as a fun activity to engage the class in a competitive game.

Currently, the activity supports the MLA style. The tutorials work best with Firefox or Internet Explorer.
