Welcome!

The goals of accurate citation are:

  1. To credit the author, and
  2. To enable the reader to find the material.

Use the tabs above to select a citation style.

Librarians at the libraries' reference desks will be glad to provide assistance in using these tools.

Please consult your instructor if you have any questions about the citation format you are to follow.

For even more information, see the list of citation tools on the library web site: http://gvsu.edu/library/citation-tools-145.htm

Important Information

Access to RefWorks Ceases June 30, 2015

Effective June 30, 2015 RefWorks will no longer be available. This means there are 2 decisions current GVSU RefWorks users need to make:

  1. You need to decide if you would like to continue using a Citation Management Tool to manage and organize your bibliographic data and select which one to use. Your RefWorks data can then be transferred to your selected tool.
  2. Go to the Manage Citations with Flow, Mendeley, & Zotero tab to read about the options and transfer your citations.
