ENG 335 Research: Secondary Sources: Books & Films
Books often give background information can also provide historical context to laws and eras. For this project, searching in the catalog for books either about your law, a person who supported or opposed the law, a population of people that was affected by your law, or a related event can lead to great information. You don't need to use the entire book. Sometimes a chapter includes great information and might focus on a particular law, person, or event.
To find a book, use Library Search. Look for the "Find Books and Media" under "Find Materials."
