A tool for locating U.S. Dept. of Energy's collections of data and non-text information, and retrieve individual datasets within some of those collections. It includes collection citations prepared by the Office of Scientific and Technical Information, and links to individual datasets submitted from DOE Data Centers and other organizations.

Similar to how Google Scholar works, Dataset Search lets you find datasets wherever they’re hosted, whether it’s a publisher's site, a digital library, or an author's personal webpage. You can find references to most datasets in environmental and social sciences, as well as data from other disciplines including government data and data provided by news organizations. NOTE: Some datasets that you encounter will not be openly accessible.
