Finding Scholarly Sources

A "Scholarly Source" is one that is written by an academic or other expert and contributes to the knowledge in a particular field, providing new research, theories, analyses, insights, or summaries of current knowledge. Using scholarly sources increases the validity of your paper, and provides scholarly context to what you are writing.

Searching for myths on the GVSU Libraries website, and even in specialized databases, can be tricky because there are so many ways we use myth in our every day lives.
