Publications and Reports
- Beige Book (1970 - Present) The “Summary of Commentary on Current Economic Conditions by Federal Reserve District,” report commonly known as the Beige Book, is published eight times per year. Each Federal Reserve Bank gathers anecdotal information on current economic conditions in its District through reports from Bank and Branch directors and interviews with key business contacts, economists, market experts, and other sources. The Beige Book summarizes this information by District and sector. An overall summary of the twelve district reports is prepared by a designated Federal Reserve Bank on a rotating basis.
- Economic Indicators (1948 - Present) This monthly publication is prepared by the Council of Economic Advisors for the Joint Economic Committee. It provides economic information on gross domestic product, income, employment, production, business activity, prices, money, credit, security markets, Federal finance, and international statistics.
- Monthly Labor Review (1981 - Present) Monthly Labor Review is published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics and includes articles written by federal, state, and local experts, as well as specialists from private industry. Topics include inflation, wages, injuries on the job, employment, etc.
- National Economic Accounts International, Regional, and Industry Accounts available. Includes personal income, corporate profits, etc.
- National Trade Estimate Report The 2016 National Trade Estimate Report on Foreign Trade Barriers (NTE) is the 31st in an annual series that highlights significant foreign barriers to U.S. exports.
