Government Documents: Historic Documents
Historic Documents at GVSU
GVSU became a federal depository in 1963, so most of our documents are less than 50 years old. We do own some older documents in print, and have access to digital versions of the Serial Set, American State Papers, and New American State Papers through the ProQuest Congressional Database. This page also lists some collections of digitized government documents that may contain information you're interested in.
If you find a historic document you're interested in, first check the catalog, then check the ProQuest Congressional Database. If you still can't find the document, contact Elizabeth Psyck, the government documents librarian, at psycke@gvsu.edu.
