When you're looking for the text of a bill, who is sponsoring or co-sponsoring legislation, for the current status, or any congressional actions taken (or amendments added) the first place to look is Congress.gov from the Library of Congress. This free service is user friendly and easy to navigate. You can search by bill number or keyword/phrase, or browse bills by sponsor.
