Public Health: Books & Media

Getting books

Use our Library Search tool. Thousands of books are available online and easily accessible via most electronic devices. Physical books and other items can be delivered to the GVSU library location of your choice. Select Frey for the library at the Daniel and Pamella DeVos Center for Interprofessional Health (DCIH). Keep in mind that other library locations are open more days and hours if you need to pick items up on weekends.

Can't find the book you need?
Look in WorldCat, a world-wide database of library holdings. You can then order the book you need through Document Delivery. Books requested through Document Delivery can take up to 10 business days to arrive, so plan accordingly. Once books are received, you will be notified via email that your item has been delivered to the GVSU library location of your choice.

There is no charge for getting books through Document Delivery.

We have access to literally hundreds of streaming videos and physical videos on a variety of health topics. Search the libraries' collections using advanced keyword search and in the box labeled Material Type, choose Streaming Video. Consider searching each resource individually, as new titles are added continuously.
