Call Numbers are locations for books, CDs, and scores. Call numbers beginning with the letter M are on the 3rd floor of the Mary Idema Pew (Allendale) Library:

• M    Scores (Mini- then full-size)
• ML  Books about music
• MT  Books about teaching music or more technical information about music

To Find Books:

• From the Library homepage, enter your search in the "Find articles, books, & more" box, then filter your results.
• When searching for a type of piece, use the plural, e.g., "sonatas" or "concertos" (not concerti). You may use keywords like "piano sonatas op. 23"

Searching for Specific Items:

• Search by composer, performer, or by title.
• Type composer's or performer's last name then first name (e.g., stravinsky igor OR ellington duke). Click on Search.

Google the dissertation author's last name and the title in quotes, then look for a .edu site for the pdf.
