Citing Indigenous Elders and Knowledge Keepers

NorQuest College Library in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, has noted that the formal APA and MLA styles do not have a format for the oral teachings of Indigenous Elders and Knowledge Keepers so they have developed citation styles in the spirit of wahkôhtowin and reconciliation. Thanks to Lorisia MacLeod (James Smith Cree Nation) and the Indigenous Student Center staff for co-developing these!
