Content Style Guide: Punctuation

One of the best ways to ensure that our website is user-friendly is to follow industry best practices, keep the content focused on key user tasks, and keep our content up-to-date at all times.

Use only one space after sentences.

Contractions are ok.

Don’t use ampersands.

(Except in special cases like the global navigation or if it’s part of something’s official name).

Use the Oxford comma.

Yes: The Libraries provide access to books, articles, and multimedia.
No: The Libraries provide access to books, articles and multimedia.
