- Mental Health & Well-being index campus resource list organized by wellness dimensionDuring uncertain times, many people experience a wide range of emotions and behaviors. Many factors contribute to how you may be feeling, including social, financial, interpersonal and systemic stressors that can negatively impact your mental and emotional well-being. Wherever you are on the continuum of mental health and well-being, from feeling vaguely uneasy to experiencing a crisis (for you or someone else), Grand Valley has resources to help.
- Schedule a consult with Involvement Assistants on campus via Office of Student Life meet with a peer to learn about ways to get involved as a laker.Meet with a member of our team to find the student organization that is perfect for you based on your interests.
- Campus Life NightMeet your new community at Campus Life Night through the 300+ student organizations, campus departments, and local businesses/non-profits in attendance at the event.
- University Counseling CenterShort-term individual and long-term group therapy are provided at no cost to currently registered GVSU students who fall within our scope of practice. Seminars and events, online self-help tools, and consultation/referral are just a few of the additional services we provide to the GVSU community. - How to Connect students with the University Counseling CenterAs a faculty/staff member, your relationship with the student is our best asset in getting them connected to the UCC or other services. While the University Counseling Center does not call students to initiate care, we will provide faculty/staff members with information on how to address the situation.
- Student Academic Success CenterStudent Academic Success Center (SASC) provides student success services to assist students in achieving their educational goals. I invite you to take advantage of the resources and opportunities available for you within our office.
- Laker Academic Success Center provides advising and academic support for athletesThe LAKER Academic Success Center provides advising and academic support services to over 500 student athletes who are participating in the 19 NCAA and GLIAC sanctioned sports at Grand Valley State University. While the primary focus is on academic advising, the LAKER Academic Center also connects student-athletes with all of the available resources at GVSU.
- Career CenterThe Career Center helps provide students and alumni with resources to explore and acquire employment opportunities.

- Inclusive ExcellenceGVSU- Inclusive Excellence at FTLC provides several resources focused on inclusive teaching, which can improve the experience of all students at a predominantly white institution.
- One Inclusive Thing Series"One Inclusive Thing" is a FTLC Series designed to highlight inclusive classroom strategies that are easy for faculty to incorporate. This series will be distributed three times per semester and will cover a broad range of inclusive topics.
